دعوه عامه لوسائل الاعلام نرجوا من جميع ابناء الجنوب ارسالها عبر الايميل او الفاكس الى جميع وسائل الاعلام العربيه والامريكيه المتواجده في نيويورك وبالذات المرابطه داخل هيئة الامم المتحده.
ويسرنا ان نجدد الدعوه هنا لجميع اخواننا ابناء الجنوب المغتربين في عموم الولايات المتحده الامريكيه للمشاركه في المظاهره المقرر اقامتها يوم الاثنين الموافق 21 ابريل امام هيئة الامم المتحده. وربما سيتم نقل المظاهره الى الىشارع 42 المواجه مباشرة للبوابه الرئيسيه لهيئة الامم المتحده بدلا عن شارع 47 الافنيو رقم واحد.

Re: Invitation to a Demonstration

The Southern Democratic Assembly (TAJ ) representing the people of South Yemen would like to inform you that we will stage a protest to coincide with the invasions of South Yemen by North Yemen on April 21, 2008 at 47th St and 1ST AVE from 10:00am till 2:00pm. In front of the United Nations



The aim of the protest is to:

- Draw the attention of the international community and seek its understanding and support to end the Unity by force which turned into a military occupation.

- Call for Self determination of our people in South Yemen.

- Call for an end to the violation of human rights in South Yemen by the Northern military occupation and to immediate release of our leaders from North Yemeni prison Mr. Hasan Baoom, Mr. Yahya Galib, Mr. Ahmed Omar Bin Fareed, Mr. Ali Munasar Mohammed, Mr. Ali Haitham Alghareeb, Mr. Husain Zaid Bin Yahya, and hundreds of other Southern prisoners.

- Remind the International Community that their position was represented by the Security Council resolutions 924 and 931 issued in (1994). The council decided that there should be no Unity by force and no secession during the war. We South Yemeni people call upon the International Community to fulfil its obligation by enforcing these important resolutions.

- Bring our issues to this level, we urge and plea the international community not to ignore Southerner's right to choose the type of political system that they want in their own country.

- Warn the international community that if the situation in south Yemen is ignored it might escalate and become another Somalia. Then it would be too late for the international community to resolve.
